Recently, an old video resurfaced, showcasing yet another delightful instance of their endearing dynamic. The clip is from Amitabh Bachchan's popular television show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati," featuring Shweta Bachchan and her daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, as special guests. In a surprising twist, Jaya Bachchan made an unexpected appearance via video call, much to the delight of the audience. During the call, Jaya playfully accused Amitabh of never answering his phones promptly, despite having five to seven of them. She humorously highlighted how Amitabh often complains about not being informed of important matters, yet he seldom picks up his calls. Navya then shared a hilarious incident that perfectly illustrated Jaya's point. She recounted a time when Jaya was flying from Delhi and had informed the family group chat that she had boarded the flight. Everyone in the group promptly responded, except for Amitabh.
Upon returning home, after having freshened up and enjoyed a meal, Jaya finally received a response from Amitabh—four hours later. His message simply read, "Ok, Jaya, safe land." This tardy reply led to a wave of laughter among those present. Amitabh tried to justify his delayed response by suggesting he might have been in a place with poor signal reception, causing the message to take longer to deliver. His explanation only added to the hilarity.
Shweta chimed in, teasing her father by suggesting that during those four hours, he was likely busy on Instagram or writing notes, rather than replying to messages. Amitabh humorously defended himself, blaming internet issues for the delay. Shweta, not missing a beat, pointed out that both WhatsApp and Instagram use the same internet, making his excuse even funnier.
This light-hearted exchange, filled with humor and affection, left the audience in stitches. It beautifully exemplified the warm, playful relationship shared by the Bachchan family, reminding everyone of the deep bond that keeps them connected.
